You wouldn’t believe where I am right now! What if I told you I was writing my first ever blog in an ambulance?
Well its true, I am currently writing this blog with mobile broadband with vodafone’s vodems plugged in to my latpop while sitting in a ambulance on the east of coast of New Zealand looking over the ocean just outside of Napier near Cape kidnappers.
The ambulance isn’t active anymore so to speak, it had been turned into a motorhome quite a few years back. Its now my girlfriend and my home for the next few months.
Thanks to domain names and websites as well as mobile broadband it has enabled us to do this and we have no set plan at stopping either. We do plan to come back to the Hawkes bay and other places to take up the offer of work of picking apples and grapes on wineyards as their is plenty of work this time of year. Plus the free apples and grapes sounds good too.
We have a nice set up in our ambulance, three way frigde, gas stove/oven, electric pump for water in the mini kitchen sink. Sony radio with remote control, which is nice with watching movies on our laptops and using a fm transmitterto put the movie sound through the cars radio system, its just like being at the movies.
We also have a power inverter which is connected to the vehciles battery and charges our cameras /laptops battery while on the road. Really great device and with mobile broadband we are virtually free to go anywhere we want and keep doing business.
The goal of this website is to share what I know to date and to learn from others, so feel free to add a comment or your opinion.
